Endres Manufacturing is looking for a Structural Estimator who can own material takeoffs, collaborate across departments, and help us deliver high quality, well structured bids. You will work closely with engineering, detailing, project management, and trusted vendors while contributing to a strong, team focused estimating process.

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to understand project requirements.
• Perform accurate takeoffs and quantity calculations for structural and miscellaneous steel.
• Prepare estimate worksheets, pricing summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with vendors to gather pricing and verify material availability.
• Identify scope gaps, constructability issues, and risks within bid packages.
• Support internal bid reviews and help maintain organized estimating schedules.
• Participate in post‑bid evaluations and contribute to process improvements.
• Monitor steel pricing and market trends to ensure competitive, current estimates.

• Strong understanding of structural steel components, fabrication methods, and erection practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and shop details.
• Proficiency with estimating or takeoff software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of estimating experience in steel fabrication or construction.
• Familiarity with structural materials, shop drawings, and industry processes.
• Experience working with vendors and coordinating pricing for bids.
• Exposure to CAD, Bluebeam, or estimating software is a plus.
