The Position

We are looking for a Small Engine Repair Technician to inspect, service, and perform routine maintenance on small engines used in road, highway, and bridge construction. The technician will identify mechanical, electrical, and fuel system problems, make necessary repairs, replace broken or defective parts, and keep accurate records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used.

Hours

Monday–Friday 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with possible overtime and occasional Saturday work.

Candidate Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
  • Punctual, dependable, self‑directed, and self‑motivated.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment and tolerate variable weather, dirty and dusty conditions.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Prior small engine repair experience or training is highly desirable.
