Overview
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knuckle Boom Operator Zenith Tech Inc. a Walbec Group. Company Southeast WI. We’re looking for an Operator responsible for operating a Knuckle Boom crane along with several other types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Position is in preparation for the upcoming 2024 season and beyond. The Walbec Group is a family-led company producing construction materials and delivering professional design, engineering, and construction services. We partner with various state, municipal, federal, and commercial projects.
Responsibilities- Operate a Knuckle Boom crane and other equipment as assigned, including skid steers, backhoes, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and related machinery.
- Read and interpret grade stakes and automated machine control cab displays; use equipment to achieve grade, slope, yield, and related measurements.
- Safely maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic, and utilities.
- Maintain, clean, and secure all equipment; follow safety and incident reporting procedures.
- Travel to various project sites as needed; projects are located throughout Southeast WI and west to Madison, WI.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. A Class A CDL is strongly desired.
- Experience operating construction equipment and specifically the Knuckle Boom crane; must be certified to operate this equipment.
- Able to read and understand grade stakes and machine control displays; able to operate to accomplish tasks involving grade, slope, yield, etc.
- Ability to operate safely in various environments and maintain equipment.
Projects will vary by location; reliable transportation and willingness to travel to any job site as needed. Projects are typically located throughout Southeast WI and west to Madison, WI.
