Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview

Heavy Equipment Operator at Zenith Tech Inc., a Walbec Group company serving Southeast WI and Southwest WI. This role supports road, highway, and bridge construction with a focus on safety and efficiency. • Operate several types of power construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner under the direction of the Foreman.
• Operate equipment including, but not limited to, Vermeers, Gradalls, backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders, skid steers, dozers, graders, and compactors.
• Preference for Operators experienced on curb machines, Gradalls, and pavers.

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• A Class A CDL is desired but not required prior to hire; it must be obtained after an agreed period, paid for by the company.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Punctual and dependable; able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends as needed.
• Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.

Primarily located in Southeastern Wisconsin with projects varying by location. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to any job site as needed. May require work in Madison, WI and night shifts.
