Multi-site Maintenance Specialist - Carpenter

SUMMARY

The Carpenter participates in community upgrades and specialized projects throughout the Capri portfolio.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Works with the Construction Project Manager to perform apartment complex renovation projects including but not limited to:

* Assist with demolition of apartment, including trash and appliance removal

* Execute carpentry work, including cabinet, and trim installation.

* Replace existing flooring with upgraded material.

* Conduct light electrical work including upgrading light fixtures.

* Execute plumbing upgrades including tub-to-shower conversions

* Conduct exterior building upgrades

2. May assist in communities to help cover PTO or position vacancies as needed.

3. Follows company policies regarding safety and building regulations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

* Valid Driver's License required for frequent vehicle travel.
