Sunday - Thursday, 7:30pm - 4:00am
Shift Differential: $1.00
As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will assist in maintaining and repairing various building systems, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, conveyance systems, and general facility infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance, helping ensure our warehouse facilities remain safe, efficient, and well maintained. This role also provides opportunities to cross train in other maintenance disciplines, including material handling equipment, automated conveyance, and refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including lighting fixtures, plumbing, conveyance systems, and general building infrastructure
- Assist with electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs under supervision
- Support general mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and basic HVAC maintenance
- Assist with basic maintenance and inspection of conveyor and automated material handling systems
- Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and address maintenance needs
- Perform general grounds maintenance, including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies while performing duties
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to support warehouse operations and facility improvement initiatives
- Cross train in additional maintenance areas such as material handling equipment, conveyance systems, and refrigeration for continued skill development
- Experience:
Previous hands-on experience in building maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, or mechanical maintenance preferred - Technical Knowledge:
Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, and general facility maintenance; exposure to conveyance systems is a plus - Problem Solving:
Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive and safety focused mindset - Certifications:
OSHA, electrical, HVAC, or related certifications are a plus - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods of time, climb ladders, work at heights, and perform tasks in a cold storage and warehouse environment
