We are looking for an Installation Manager to own execution of all commercial installation work. This role has full responsibility for install scheduling, coordination with General Contractors and other trades, and technician deployment. The Installation Manager is the authority on install readiness and sequencing and is expected to proactively manage conflicts, constraints, and site issues.
This is a senior, GC-facing role. We are not looking for a dispatcher.
Responsibilities- Own the commercial installation schedule end-to-end
- Act as the primary install point of contact for General Contractors and end users
- Coordinate installation timelines with:
- Schedule technicians based on:
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Push back on GCs or sites when prerequisites are not met
- Protect technician utilization and reduce failed trips
- Maintain accurate, organized install schedules and job status tracking
- 5+ years in installation scheduling, coordination, or operations
- Commercial construction or commercial service trades only
- Direct experience working with General Contractors
- Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Mechanical or electrical trade background
- Prior field experience or strong technical aptitude
- Experience in:
- Automatic doors
- Access control
- Low-voltage systems
- Ability to speak technically and confidently with GCs
