Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic – Sign on Bonus

Shift

Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Signing Bonus
  • J1 Technician – $1,000 (Target Efficiency Rate = 75 %)
  • J2 Technician – $2,500 (Target Efficiency Rate = 80 %)
  • J3 Technician – $7,500 (Target Efficiency Rate = 85 %)
  • J4 Technician – $10,000 (Target Efficiency Rate = 90 %)
  • J5 Technician – $15,000 (Target Efficiency Rate = 95 %)

Eligibility is based on meeting minimum productivity numbers in the employee’s first 13 months.

Job Purpose

As a Service Technician, you will embody our values by performing routine maintenance, assisting with vehicle repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service to keep our fleet running efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Honor Commitments
  • Determine vehicle condition through inspections and diagnostic tests.
  • Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements, testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub‑assemblies, components or parts.
  • Evaluate service and parts options to contain costs.
  • Control corrosion and complete winterization procedures.
Create Positive Experiences
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Assist in the repair of customer vehicles, lease units and company inventory.
  • Maintain vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in automotive repair or heavy‑duty truck maintenance preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or ability to obtain.
  • Dependable and reliable attendance required.
