Veterinary Technician

Location: 918 W. Sunset Drive Waukesha, WI 53189

VCA Associates in Pet Care Animal Hospital is adding a Veterinary Technician to our Patient Care Team!

Schedule: Full-time opportunity. 4 x 10 hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation: $20 - $26/hr and the starting range for technicians is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field.

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM
• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
