Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (mids/evenings)

• 40 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract

• Work every other weekend with holiday rotation required

• Float to other facilities as needed including Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago

• No on-call or call back requirements

• 53-bed medical surgical unit with 1:7-8 patient ratio possible

• Must have 3-5 years medical surgical experience required

• At least 1 traveler contract completion preferred

• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips required

• Must be able to read telemetry

• Short term acute care hospital experience required

• EPIC charting experience required within last 12 months

• Required certifications: BLS, Wisconsin or Compact license

• Must complete required CBLs prior to starting (unpaid)

• Associate degree or certificate required

• Any color scrubs acceptable

• Must be hard worker, resilient, manage change well, have strong documentation skills, and work in fast-paced environment

The facility features a 53-bed medical surgical unit and utilizes EPIC electronic health records system. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and requires experienced nursing professionals who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing complex patient needs including cardiac monitoring and medication administration.
