We Are Hiring: Scheduling System Specialist- WMH OR- 1.0 FTE
Schedule: 12 hour shift and every other Saturday morning.
In a single day, staff from 4 specialty based teams work within 16 Operating Room Suites to handle as many as 40 cases ranging from Cardiothoracic, Neuro/Orthopedics/Dental, General/Vascular/ ENT, GYN, Urology, to Plastics surgery. Waukesha Memorial Hospitals Operating Rooms average 8,500 procedures annually including da Vinci Robotic procedures performed within more specialties routinely than any other facility in SE Wisconsin. The OR suite also includes a newly built Hybrid OR and a fully integrated Minimally Invasive Robotic room.

Works in collaboration with the RN OR operations coordinator to ensure smooth operations of scheduling cases, work day flow, and closed loop communication. Responsible for confirming appropriate charges are entered for patients. Collaborates daily with materials coordinator, billing department, vendors and staff to ensure efficiencies.
You will also answer phones and page call staff and physicians when needed. This position is accountable for contributing to smooth daily interactions with all stakeholder (doctors, nurses, techs, assistants, students, and ancillary departments) at the control desk
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Strong Medical Terminology
