Shell Fabricator - 2nd Shift (Weld)

Location:
Badger Dr., Waukesha, WI
Compensation: $24.50 per hour + $2.50 shift premium. Core hours 3‑pm to 11‑pm.
Sign‑on bonus: $2,000 (paid in two installments).

- Acquire materials daily using a forklift per order requirements.
- Check material specifications, dimensions on shop orders and prints against customer specs for accuracy.
- Roll steel sheet into tank shell, seam weld, run shell through all other machine operations and install components.
- Grind excess weld from seams, edges and gasket seats to improve fit.
- Stage completed tank shells for next operation; stamp employee .
- Attach shop order to unit with initials signed.
- Operate jib and bridge crane to move heavy parts onto machines.
- Assist co‑workers with movement of units.
- Abide by PQG and all weld quality standards.
- Support regulator tank kitting as needed.
- Meet or exceed productivity requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Welding certification or at least two years of welding and metal fabrication experience. >
- No relocation benefit; candidates within 50‑mile radius considered (military exempt).

- Wear PPE (glasses, ear plugs, boots, gloves, respirator, helmet, jacket).
- Understand shop specifications (drawings, process sheets).
- Pass Eaton weld test.
- Work overtime as required.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and perform other essential duties with reasonable accommodations.
