1st Shift Production Supervisor - Transformers

Overview

Eaton’s Power Systems Division is currently seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor - Transformers. This position is located at our Waukesha, WI (Badger Dr) location.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

As a Production Supervisor, you will direct departmental activities and initiate/participate in cross-functional activities to accomplish the objectives of safety, quality, on-time delivery, inventory, productivity, and continuous improvement, which focuses on removing cost from the business as well as meeting departmental metrics, goals, and objectives.

• Champion a Zero Incident Safety Culture and ensure compliance with standardized work and safety requirements.
• Align departmental operations with Eaton Quality System priorities while managing production, staffing, and shift coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives by empowering employees and collaborating cross-functionally.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory review, labor scheduling, equipment maintenance, and budget adherence.
• Monitor team performance in safety, quality, and productivity; provide coaching, training, and development resources.
• Manage administrative functions such as attendance, time-off, training records, and internal communications.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve plant goals and support business partner selection and development.

Required (Basic)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or completion of Eaton’s Front Line Leader Associate program
• Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
• One (1) year of supervisory experience
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

• Five (5) years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with lean manufacturing / Operational Excellence in 5S+, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management, etc.
• Experience in an Engineered to order environment
