As Electrical Engine Assembly Lead / Trainer, you’ll have the unique opportunity to complete specialized training at our Jenbacher headquarters in Austria. You’ll gain world-class expertise and then bring that knowledge back to Waukesha to help train and mentor your colleagues. What You’ll Do- Assemble and wire industrial control panels based on electrical schematics
- Perform electrical installations on production lines and prototype builds
- Conduct system testing to ensure compliance with U.S. standards
- Document all work accurately and maintain records
- Operate cable assembly equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
- Contribute ideas to improve processes and workflows
- Participate in a 2–3 month training program at our state-of-the-art factory in the Austrian Alps to learn our advanced assembly techniques
- Share your expertise by training and mentoring co-workers in the United States after returning from Austria
- Completed training or certification in electrical engineering, electronics, electrical installation, or mechatronics
- Hands-on experience in control panel assembly, machine installation, or system commissioning
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Ability to work shifts, overtime, and adapt to team needs
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards (OSHA compliance)
- Valid work authorization for the United States
