Shift: 3rd shift, Sun-Thu, 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Description:
We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for an experienced Plasma Cutting/Burn Table Operator with the ability to set-up large scale parts, program, and select tooling to cut large metal parts. Must be able to work independently. You’ll be working the third shift, Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m

Plasma Burn Table Operator Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Set-up and burn with fuel gas bevel cutting tip
Set-up and burn structural shapes and 3 dimensional parts
Set-up and perform oxygen piercing
Set-up CNC programs for cutting operations
Set-up, adjust and operate fuel gas and plasma functions
Calculate the speeds required for different materials, tools and material thickness
Adjust water table and burning set up for minimal dross build up and part welding
Verify correct quantity and cut quality of parts burned
Perform 1st piece and random dimensional inspections with the air of the shop order packet
Work from drawings and use required measuring instruments and gauging devices to check
progression or work and final product.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
A minimum of one (1) year of experience is required.
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations required. Ability to apply concepts such as
fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane, forklift or stand-up may be required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is
regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and armsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
focus.Heavy manufacturing preferred.
