Job Description

As a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) clinician, you will work in an outpatient setting with an average caseload of 12 clients.

Client Care & Treatment
  • Develop personalized biopsychosocial treatment plans for new clients.
  • Provide SUD and mental health assessments, counseling, and intervention services.
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Develop service plans and conduct reviews throughout treatment.
Coordination & Collaboration
  • Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high‑quality care.
  • Coordinate with medical and psychiatric providers for comprehensive care.
  • Ensure smooth discharge planning and follow‑ups.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain thorough documentation according to federal and state guidelines.
  • Participate in annual cultural competency, diversity, and safety training.
Community Engagement
  • Represent Wis Hope at community events, trainings, and meetings.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with referral sources and partners.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Licensure (SAC-IT, SAC-SCAC) or working toward licensure preferred.
  • Experience in addiction treatment and mental health care.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to cultural competency and diversity in care.
