Our client is an organization in the Waukesha area that’s looking for a Controller. This company is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, inquisitive, and an excellent leader. This company provides flexibility, a collaborative, tenured team, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.

The salary for this job is $120K.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership and oversight of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial information, including general ledger activity, bank condition reports, and other key performance metrics.
  • Assist with monthly board reporting, quarterly call reports, and budget and forecast updates.
  • Support annual financial statement audits and all regulatory examinations, ensuring compliance with accounting and banking regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze loan and deposit yields, providing insights into balance sheet performance and profitability trends.
  • Collaborate with departments to research, resolve, and prevent accounting discrepancies or process issues.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting systems and tools, serving as a financial resource and problem-solver for leadership and operational teams.

The Controller will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, CPA strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive management experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines with shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate clear, actionable insights.
