At Liberty Systems in Waukesha, WI, we’re hiring a full‑time Product Engineer who is energized by building reliable, real‑world solutions. This engineering role offers a compensation package of $65,000-$80,000/year
, depending on experience, and a suite of benefits.
This role has a full‑time Monday through Friday schedule.
Your RoleAs our Product Engineer, you will participate in every stage of developing dry air and nitrogen generation systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating precise mechanical models and system layouts.
- Running engineering calculations to confirm performance.
- Collaborating with senior engineers to select components such as compressors, filters, dryers, regulators, valves, and sensors.
- Producing technical documentation that guides production teams, including P&IDs, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
- Contributing to basic control logic and interface design.
- Participating in prototype assembly and functional tests.
- Executing production validations.
- Troubleshooting issues and supporting continuous improvements.
- Ensuring all work meets ASME, CSA, and ISO requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent field).
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience (internships, co‑ops, or capstone projects acceptable).
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling and drafting (Fusion, Solid Works, or similar).
- Understanding of core engineering principles, including thermodynamics and fluid flow.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with system prototyping, field installations, or test procedures.
- Knowledge of compressed air, gas systems, or fluid mechanics.
- Exposure to PSA or membrane nitrogen generation technology.
- Familiarity with Modbus communication, PLC programming, or HMI design.
- Understanding of compliance standards such as CSA B51, NFPA 70/79, or UL/CE marking.
