- Evaluating customer needs
- Designing electrical controls and electrical power distribution
- Designing electrical hardware
- Programming robots, servos, HMIs and PLCs
- Working with vision systems
- Testing
- Creating quotes for customers
- Traveling domestically and internationally to customer sites up to 25%
- Reporting to the Service Manager
- Advancement opportunities; potential management role
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering and 5+ years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer is required for this position
- Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), strong knowledge of electrical design principles, and experience with industrial networks
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Control Systems Engineer in industrial automation
- 2+ years of PLC and HMI programming with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.
- 2+ years of electrical machine design experience
- 2+ years of machine safety standards and industrial communication networks implementation experience
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
- Possess the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
- Possess a solid work history
- Having a residence within a 45-minute drive
Up to $120,000 for a well qualified candidate.
