Field Service Technician
Based in Wales, Wisconsin, this role reports to the Service Supervisor. You'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic systems, primarily with local support and occasional travel. It's a chance to apply your skills in a dynamic, tech-driven setting. While at times you may handle on-site work independently, you're always backed by a supportive team ready to collaborate and provide expert resources – you'll never feel isolated, as we're all in this together with access to help whenever you need it.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on robotic systems, handling mechanical, electrical, and control/programming issues effectively.
- Provide on-site and remote support, offering customers guidance on operations, upgrades, and best practices.
- Assist with installing and commissioning new automation equipment, collaborating with engineering and programming teams for smooth integration.
- Document activities and recommend preventive measures to avoid issues.
- Stay updated on the latest robotics advancements through ongoing training.
- Experience in field service or technical support, ideally in robotics or automation.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to flexible schedules with some travel.
- Certifications in robotics, automation, or related fields are a plus.
