We are looking for an operator in the Grading department to work under a foreman. The operator will safely operate grading equipment, move earth and materials, prepare sites for road construction, and maintain equipment.

• Move construction materials, earth, and other heavy materials at construction sites using grading machinery.
• Operate equipment that clears and grades land for road construction.
• Work with one or several types of power construction equipment safely and effectively to minimize injury and property damage.
• Read and understand grade stakes, automated machine‑control cab displays, and other operating instruments.
• Prepare rough and finish grades as required.
• Safely maneuver machinery in tight quarters, around people, traffic and utilities.
• Clean, maintain, and secure all equipment.
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures.
• Assist with equipment repairs as needed.

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• CDL is desired but not required.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours.
