Under the direction of the Asphalt Plant Manager, the Asphalt Plant Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations associated with asphalt plant supervision and asphalt production. In addition, will be directing and coordinating the activities related to the production of asphalt for internal asphalt customers and external customers.

• Lead, promote, and enforce safe work practices in compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations by conducting regular safety meetings, plant inspections, and audits.
• Collaborate with safety and maintenance teams to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.

• Analyze project technical specifications, create asphalt mix designs, and develop operational BMPs to ensure that the materials and processes meet project requirements.
• Coordinate material testing with technical services and plant personnel during production.
• Consistently monitor test results to ensure materials meet specifications and manage risks to avoid penalties and project delays.
• Actively support continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high quality standards for customers.

• Oversee 6-8 asphalt plant facilities with day/night operations including all supporting aggregate platform sites and plant personnel.
• Manage supply chain to source and purchase necessary materials to maximize quality and performance, minimize cost, and deliver materials on time.
