Parts Driver Waukegan, IL Qualifications of a Parts Driver

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent customer service skills
• Capable of heavy lifting and moving automotive parts
• This position requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to delivery schedules

• Check in the parts order, tires, oil, etc. and accurately receive parts on the Dealer track system
• Invoice parts for delivery
• Load and unload parts from delivery vehicle
• Deliver parts in a timely and safe manner
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
• Put away stock, tires, oils, etc. in the correct bin locations.
• Restock parts shelves
• Perform other duties assigned such as sweeping, taking out trash, bin checks & bin cleaning during down time
• Maintain a clean delivery vehicle
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance such as checking engine oil level, washer fluid level, and tire pressure.
