A Food Runner is responsible for supporting waitstaff in carrying beverages and meal items to designated tables.
Essential Job Functions- Assist customers with their orders by explaining specials, meals, and drinks, and make recommendations.
- Deliver food orders to a variety of customers in a timely manner.
- Accurately explain food orders to chefs, with specific attention to allergies and special requests.
- Help the wait staff set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins.
- Uphold our food health safety and sanitation principles.
- Occasionally check on customers to handle any impromptu requests or issues.
- Remove dirty dishes from the table.
- Inform management of customer feedback.
- Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately.
- Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
- Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash.
- Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory.
- Relay reports of customer satisfaction to management and relevant parties.
- Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.
- Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate utensils, napkins, and decorations.
- Handle various impromptu requests from customers.
Bi‑lingual a plus
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
