Job Title: Digital Project Manager I - Client Advertising Agency
Pay Rate: $40–$45/hour
Contract Duration: ASAP start | 1-year contract
Location: Lake County, IL
Work Schedule:
- Full-time:
Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week - Hybrid:
Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (2 days remote)
The Project Manager I supports the planning, scheduling, and execution of print and digital projects within the Client Advertising Agency (A3). This role partners closely with Account Managers, Creative teams, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on strategy, while maintaining strong client relationships.
This is a client-service–oriented project management role within a pharmaceutical advertising agency environment.
What We’re Looking For Required Experience- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1–4 years of advertising agency experience (minimum)
- Recent experience (within last 2–3 years) in account services or project management
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical advertising experience (agency side — not general healthcare)
- Experience managing multiple projects at varying stages
Experience from agencies such as:
Abelson Taylor, Area
23, Eversana Intouch, FCB, TBWA, closerlook, MERGE, DDB, Digitas Health, Evoke
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and schedules
- Allocate resources and ensure milestones are met
- Lead status meetings; capture notes, risks, and action items
- Manage internal agency routing and approvals (Kantata, Workfront)
- Prepare and submit materials through Medical/Legal/Regulatory (Veeva Promo Mats) review
- Coordinate with creative, studio, programming, and interactive teams
- Serve as primary contact for third-party vendors
- Maintain project documentation (specs, estimates, server folders, tracking)
- Track time daily
- Assist with project estimates and billing
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies
- Digital project experience
- Pharmaceutical marketing experience (last 2–3 years)
- Print production experience
- Understanding of promotional guidelines and compliance standards
- Familiarity with agency workflows and approval processes
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience with Kantata/Mavenlink, Workfront, and Veeva Promo Mats preferred
