Overview
The Corporate Employee Health and Services Manager serves as the protector of health, safety, and environmental compliance for employees, guests, and the organization. This role leads Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) strategy and execution across multiple locations and work shifts, ensuring compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and client audit requirements. The position delivers EHS learning programs, process best practices, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives that promote a safe, compliant, and productive workplace.

- Manage all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and site compliance across multiple locations and three work shift
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations and proactively manage relationships with regulatory agencies
- Act as the primary contact for governmental regulatory inspections and audit
- Maintain current knowledge of existing and emerging EHS laws and regulation
- Develop, maintain, and standardize site operating procedures and centralized compliance documentation
- Achieve annual target rates for lost time, recordable incidents, severity, and environmental metric
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and root cause analysis; develop and implement corrective action plan
- Identify unsafe conditions or behaviors and drive improved decision-making through engineering, administrative, or behavioral control
- Oversee workers’ compensation programs from prevention through injury management and return-to-work processes
- Design and deliver EHS learning programs, safety awareness initiatives, and technical training
- Select, implement, and manage EHS learning tools and management system
- Promote a culture of continuous safety awareness and behavioral accountability
- Serve as a change leader, influencing leaders and employees to adopt best practices
- Integrate EHS leadership into business processes and strategic plan
- Develop annual EHS goals for each site in partnership with Operations leadership
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of KPIs, metrics, and regulatory submission
- Analyze trends and performance data to recommend improvement opportunities
- Work closely with suppliers and contractors to support audits, risk analysis, and corrective actions
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Facilities, and Leadership team
- Participate in cross-functional teams and special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)
- 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (highly preferred)
- Proven experience managing EHS compliance across multiple locations with a diverse workforce
- Demonstrated success managing regulatory reporting, audits, and claims response
- Experience leading EHS staff across multiple shifts and locations
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to adjust tactics midstream and drive continuous improvement
- Professional maturity and credibility to influence leadership and workforce behavior
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Hands-on experience with EHS management systems
- Experience selecting, implementing, and utilizing EHS learning tools
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication across all organizational levels
- Effective presenter in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings
- Ability to manage discussions on data-driven and sensitive topics
- Commands attention and adapts communication style as needed
- Frequent travel between local sites (within close proximity)
- Occasional travel to vendor or supplier locations
- Reliable transportation required
- Timely and accurate completion of all regulatory and internal EHS reporting
- Successful identification and implementation of EHS problem-solving initiatives
- Measurable improvements in safety, compliance, and environmental performance
