You will lead three H&R Block tax offices, providing leadership to customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

This role is in-person and not remote. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed.

• Provide leadership over three tax offices and manage front-line leadership and development of associates
• Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives across three offices
• Lead daily team meetings, create associate work schedules, and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management
• Travel between offices as required
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment*
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
• Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with appropriate support
• Build an engaging, high-performing team environment through training and coaching

• Multi-unit people management experience in relevant industries (retail, restaurant, banking, etc.)
• Ability to execute growth plans and lead a growth culture
• Strong decision-making, interpersonal, and customer-centric skills
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course*

• People management experience and ability to develop associates
• Growth-focused mindset with effective leadership
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Pay Range: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Eligible for incentive plans where applicable. Benefits may include medical coverage, 401(k), EAP, and other programs as described by Block benefits.
