Waukegan, IL – Part Time.

Join Deer Oaks – The Behavioral Health Solution for a Licensed Psychologist. In this role you will be assigned to local LTC facilities, building meaningful connections and delivering evidence‑based therapy including individual, family, group sessions and behavioral management services. We support your professional growth with APA‑accredited CEUs, ongoing consultation, and the opportunity for Board‑Certified Geropsychology training.

• Provide evidence‑based psychological services: screening, assessment, treatment planning.
• Conduct psychotherapy intakes and manage treatment plans.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team working with patients in Long‑Term Care facilities.
• Deliver individual, family, group therapy and essential behavioral management services.
• Adhere to ethical principles and professional guidelines.

• Licensed Psychologist able to practice independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to schedule counseling sessions independently and use Geriatric Notes Tool (GNT) for timely session notes.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients and facility partners.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Flexible scheduling (Monday–Friday business hours, no rigid start/end times; no on‑call or after‑hours work required; part‑time options available).
• Administrative overhead covered—focus on clinical services.
