- Supervise all nursing staff in the rehabilitation center.
- Plan, develop, organize, and implement day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
- Oversee department budgets.
- Communicate with doctors, consumers, and family members about consumer health.
- Implement new procedures and train nurses in company policies.
- Work in tandem with the administrator and team members to create positive outcomes for residents.
- 2 years of experience as a DON or an ADON in long-term care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois, in good standing.
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment (Point Click Care ).
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
