Accounting Data Entry Clerk

LaSalle Network is partnering with a stable and growing print media organization in Waukegan to hire a data-entry–focused Accounting Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is budgeted to pay up to $21/hr and will require you to be in Waukegan, IL 5x a week. The goal of this assignment is to convert after 4–5 months to a permanent role.

• High-volume data entry of invoices and financial transactions
• Assisting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices
• Reconciling discrepancies and researching basic variances
• Maintaining accurate and organized financial records
• Supporting the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed

• 1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, or strong data entry experience
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working onsite in Waukegan 5 days per week
• Proficiency in Excel and basic accounting systems
• Reliable, consistent work ethic

• Clear contract-to-hire structure with conversion targeted around 5 months
