Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Know the tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App, including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering and guide guests to enroll and use these features
• Handle returns following policies, and seek assistance from leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies as needed
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
• Work safely at all times; follow safety policies and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders and related duties with compliance to laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, with typical lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 44 pounds
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Exposure to varying temperatures and environments where duties are performed
