Target is a retailer that focuses on helping guests discover the joy of everyday life through strong operations, guest experience, and visual merchandising. The role of a Style Consultant involves meeting guests where they are and delivering a compelling in-store experience with knowledgeable assistance on assortment and brand offerings.

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signing, and maintaining knowledge of assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and to support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes and signing execution for merchandise
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise from fitting rooms and guest service is moved to the sales floor as needed.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive-up while complying with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs; thank guests for shopping with Target.
• All other duties as required by business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.

• Interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and tech as directed.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to complete training and learn necessary skills.

• Cash handling as needed.
• Ability to climb ladders and handle merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environment depending on role (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
