As an Applebee's Cook, you will:

• Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard, ensuring guests return for more.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, including hand washing and use of cleaning supplies.
• Assist with kitchen equipment operation and line work.

Requirements:

• Minimum age 18, reliable work schedule of up to four hours per shift.
• Strong communication skills and team spirit.
• Ability to remain stationary, lift up to 50 lb, and perform tasks in a hot, damp environment.
• Willingness to wear protective hand coverings, face coverings, and to wash hands frequently.

Compensation and benefits:
Applebee’s cooks are paid a rate of minimum wage to $23 /hour plus tips and have access to daily pay (except in California), healthcare benefits, meal discounts, and paid sick leave.

Physical Standards:
Must remain stationary and exert well‑paced mobility for up to four hours. Must safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Must work in a hot and damp environment, and use disinfectant cleaning supplies. Must wear protective coverings, masks, and wash hands frequently with disinfecting soap.
