Overview
Seven Moon Farm is a small scale, MOFGA certified organic, diversified vegetable, flower, and herb farm in Waldo County, Maine. We focus on reducing tillage, increasing biodiversity, and using crop rotations and cover cropping to support soil health and climate resiliency. We strive to cultivate a safe and comfortable environment for people of color, the LGBTQ community, and other marginalized communities, and expect our employees to do the same.
We grow about 3 acres of mixed vegetables, including four unheated high tunnels. We use tractor- and human-powered practices to prep, plant, cultivate, harvest, and bed our fields. We sell most of our produce within 20 miles of the farm through farmer’s markets, our CSA, and wholesale partners. We are passionate about good food—growing it, cooking with it, and sharing it!
