, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE, is seeking an Indirect Procurement Coordinator for a hybrid position based in Thurnscoe, UK.

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Lead, this entry‑level role supports logistics‑related indirect procurement activities such as fleet support, sea freight data collection, pricing reviews, supplier reporting and procurement administration. Ideal for a recent graduate or someone with introductory experience who wants to develop a procurement career.

Responsibilities

Fleet Support

  • Support procurement and administrative activities relating to fleet and logistics spend
  • Maintain records for vehicles, suppliers, contracts and compliance documentation
  • Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, building strong relationships
  • Negotiate new and existing contracts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business

Sea Freight Data & Reporting

  • Collect and maintain sea freight data (volumes, routes, costs, suppliers)
  • Obtain ad-hoc quotes from vendors
  • Check pricing against agreed supplier rates and procurement guidelines
  • Support accounts with low-value invoice queries

Procurement Administration & Development

  • Track supplier performance against KPIs
  • Contribute to departmental KPI reporting
  • Identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Provide administrative support across logistics procurement activities
  • Assist with tender preparation and evaluation activities
  • Review low-value quotes with internal stakeholders
  • Escalate or investigate anomalies where required
  • Support internal auditing to contribute towards corporate governance
Requirements
  • Graduate level or 2-3 years relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work with data
  • Good Excel skills and confidence learning new systems
  • Organised, proactive and keen to develop commercial skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
