Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Sous Chef located in Bushey. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in supervising daily kitchen operations, preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring food is cooked to perfection. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, overseeing inventory and food supplies, and supporting menu planning and cost control. The Sous Chef will contribute to the creation of exceptional dining experiences and the seamless operation of the kitchen.
Qualifications- Proficient culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Experience in kitchen management, team supervision, and staff training
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and inventory management
- Creativity in menu planning and development
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are highly desirable
- Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality or fine dining industry is an advantage
