Administrative Officer (Temporary Workforce)

Salary: £25,100 per annum pro rata.

Location: Remote.

Contract: Permanent, 30 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 6 hours per day).

A bit about the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the TAWS (Temporary Agency Workers Solution) team at Action for Children. You will report to the Temporary Workforce Lead who heads up the TAWS programme.

You will have responsibility to deliver a consultative temporary recruitment service to hiring managers, providing inclusive attraction campaigns to agreed timelines and quality standards (including KPI’s and SLA requirements).

You will also take the lead coordination and communication role to ensure the candidate and hiring manager experience is positive.

How you'll help to create brighter futures by
  • Understanding hiring managers requirements in depth and sharing this knowledge with the supply chain, to ensure the right quality of candidate is put forward.
  • Supporting hiring managers to ensure that the details of the vacancies are up to date with the correct levels of detail to attract the right candidates.
  • Supporting hiring managers to ensure that all temporary agency workers are 100% compliant, with the correct documentation in line with Action for Children Agency Workers and Safer Recruitment Policy.
  • Supporting suppliers/hiring managers to ensure timesheets are submitted and approved without queries each week.
  • Providing training support to hiring managers and suppliers, to ensure they are using TAWS (Matrix technology) effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitoring assignment start and end dates – contacting managers and suppliers to confirm start information is complete.
  • Updating TAWS systems with compliance requirements.
Let's talk about you
  • Minimum of Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification or work experience (see job advert for specific requirements).
  • Previous experience in the recruitment sector.
  • Experienced in educating and influencing hiring manager and suppliers, delivering a positive experience throughout recruitment process.
  • Experienced in utilising end to end procurement system to follow recruitment processes, safer recruitment and GDPR.
  • Ability to develop relationships remotely and across multiple locations and to build confidence of knowledge and expertise.
  • Exceptional verbal communication for range of stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of key employment law affecting the recruitment of temporary agency workers including AWR and RLW regulations.
