Contracts Manager Carpentry

Overview

SJB Contracting is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to take overall responsibility for labour, site programming, quality, health & safety, and operational delivery across multiple live projects. This role acts as the key point of contact between site teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide strong leadership to Contracts Managers and Foremen, drive performance on site, and ensure company procedures are consistently followed.

• Ensure consistent delivery across all sites
• Manage and oversee Contracts Manager performance
• Balance labour and resources across multiple projects
• Control quality standards and eliminate repeat issues
• Set and enforce standard performance and expectations
• Fix recurring business-wide issues
• Improve planning, resourcing, and operational systems
• Create stable, predictable performance across the region
• Develop a close working relationship with all site personnel to foster a good team spirit

The Company employs rigorous quality control, quality assurance, health and safety, welfare, and environmental procedures on all projects and, as such, you must familiarise yourself with our systems and procedures and be available to attend training and inductions courses as required.

• Carpentry Experience

£80k-95k dependent on experience.
