An established and respected garage door and entrance door installation company, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead their busy Watford branch.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, hands‑on manager to play a key role in a small but dynamic team, overseeing the day‑to‑day planning, coordination and operation of the branch.

As Branch Manager, you will take full responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the branch. This is a varied, practical role combining management, sales, administration and customer service. You will manage a team of four, support installation scheduling, handle customer enquiries and gain in-depth knowledge of our products.

This is a hands‑on position, involving occasional heavy lifting and direct involvement in branch operations.

• Managing and motivating a team of 4 staff
• Handling enquiries and sales of garage doors and related products
• Answering and making telephone calls
• Responding promptly to emails
• Dealing with customers face‑to‑face
• Processing orders and scheduling installations
• Checking delivered goods against delivery notes for condition and quantity
• Maintaining an efficient, organised branch operation

• Proven supervisory or management experience
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Good IT literacy
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• High attention to detail
• Willingness to be hands‑on, including some heavy lifting

Experience with in the garage door industry, construction, builders' merchants or home improvement sectors.

• Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 9:00am - 12:30pm (rota basis)
