About the role

As Performance Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Corona Energy’s portfolio is managed effectively, accurately, and in line with commercial and regulatory standards. This means:

  • Minimising value erosion to the business.
  • Consistently achieving industry performance standards.
  • Driving continuous improvement to support our growth strategies.

You will lead a team of Operational Analysts and work collaboratively across operations, customer service, and technical functions — ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage, develop, and support a team of analysts to maintain a healthy, accurate and timely industry portfolio.
  • Lead all aspects of people management for the Data Team, including performance reviews, training plans, and team development.
  • Ensure industry performance standards, compliance, and KPIs are consistently met.
  • Build and embed a continuous improvement framework to enhance regulatory performance and customer experience.
  • Analyse and present monthly performance updates, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate regulatory, operational, and commercial risks, while developing contingency plans.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with third-party vendors to ensure best value and compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members, driving knowledge-sharing and professional development.
The ideal candidate will have
  • 5+ years’ experience in energy industry operations roles, with 2+ years in people management.
  • Deep knowledge of the energy operations processes.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, drive change, and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to align operational delivery to commercial goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex issues for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen, with experience in budgeting and vendor management.
  • Proven track record of leading projects successfully from start to finish.
