OverviewA UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking a hands‑on and proactive Asbestos Operations Manager. The company has a growing presence in the South Eastern region and is looking for someone who can successfully oversee existing and new contracts and team members. On a daily basis you will be overseeing the completion of simultaneous projects whilst ensuring company standards and client relationships are maintained.
It is essential that applicants have a successful track record of managing teams of site and office staff and must be able to hit the ground running upon joining the company.

Experience / Qualifications- Must have experience working as an Asbestos Operations Manager
- Fully conversant in HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
- Must hold BOHS qualifications such as P401, P402, P403, P404 and / or P405 (or RSPH equivalents)
- Strong experience of managing teams of office and site staff
- Successful in managing existing client accounts and growing business revenues
- Excellent communication skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in using IT software
- We are also interested in anyone with P401/P402/P403/P404/P405 or S301 CCP.
- Overseeing daily running of a busy Asbestos department to ensure contractual agreements are met and deadlines are adhered to
- Managing delivery of site projects, allocating works and monitoring progress
- Key point of contact for clients, answering technical and logistical queries and providing general support
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Completing staff competency checks and auditing to ensure compliance and high levels of service
- Supporting UKAS accreditation requirements
- Identifying gaps in the business to grow existing client accounts and highlight new leads
- Producing RAMs, site risk assessments and method statements
- Leading training sessions and toolbox talks
- Attending client meetings to establish their requirements
- Overseeing asbestos removal projects
- Partaking in the recruitment process, interviewing and training new members of staff
- Producing detailed tenders and quotations
