Information Technology Manager

We’re working with a fantastic and fast-growing food business based in Watford, looking for a hands‑on IT Manager to take full ownership of technology across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, modernise, and shape IT within a growing environment.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll manage all IT systems, collaborate with external consultants and third-party providers, and deliver practical, effective solutions. You’ll provide day‑to‑day leadership within the IT function while remaining hands‑on in operational support and improvement initiatives.

• Take full ownership of all IT systems and infrastructure.
• Manage Microsoft 365 environments and core business applications.
• Oversee internal operational systems and digital signage platforms.
• Administer support platforms and ensure effective workflows and reporting.
• Lead cyber security, compliance, backups, and business continuity.
• Manage third‑party IT suppliers and consultants.
• Identify opportunities to modernise systems, improve efficiency, and implement automation.
• Support IT infrastructure setup for new sites and business initiatives.

• Proven experience in an IT Manager or senior IT role.
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge.
• Experience managing multiple systems and external vendors.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience administering Zendesk or a similar service management platform.
• Experience with digital signage platforms.
• Power BI reporting and dashboard creation.
• Strong cyber security knowledge.
• Experience in retail or multi‑site environments.
