Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end M365 tenant migrations (discovery, data migration, target configuration, validation and cutover).
  • Review and rationalise Azure estates against Well-Architected principles.
  • Maintain and support on-prem infrastructure and hybrid integration points.
  • Produce detailed diagrams, build guides, as-built records and runbooks.
  • Drive standardisation and guardrails across subsidiaries (identity, security baselines, conditional access, MFA).
  • Ensure changes follow change control and risk management processes.
  • Design and execute test plans (functional, security, DR, performance) and support operational handover into BAU.
Skills & experience (essential)
  • 4+ years’ experience across M365 and Azure in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on with Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra  (Azure AD), Security & Compliance.
  • Experience supporting or leading large-scale migration or consolidation initiatives across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Solid grasp of modern identity and access principles, including secure authentication models and access control.
  • Background working with hybrid estates that include both cloud platforms and traditional on-prem infrastructure.
  • Ability to automate and standardise through scripting or infrastructure-led approaches.
  • Confident communicator, capable of influencing technical direction and explaining change clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant degree or professional cloud/security certifications.
  • Experience operating in multi-company / acquisition environments or rolling consolidation programmes.
