IT Engineer (3-6 Month Contract, Likely to Go Permanent)

Location: Watford with regional travel

Contract: 3–6 months initially (very strong chance of permanent hire)

We’re supporting a growing hospitality group that is looking for an experienced Regional IT Engineer to provide hands‑on technical support across multiple hotel sites in the South of England, as well as their head office. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of on‑site work, problem solving, project involvement and working closely with operational teams.

• Supporting and maintaining IT hardware and software across hotel properties
• Handling second‑line support for end users, resolving issues quickly and professionally
• Providing support for hotel systems including PMS, Wi, telecoms, AV, and TV systems
• Working directly with senior stakeholders and board‑level staff when needed
• Managing relationships with third‑party suppliers and ensuring smooth service delivery
• Assisting with procurement of IT equipment and services
• Providing hands‑on support in communications cabinet patching, office moves and general infrastructure tasks
• Training on‑site teams to strengthen local IT capability
• Contributing to IT projects such as upgrades, new system rollouts and property expansions
• Documenting systems, configurations and processes clearly
