IPS Team Lead

Overview

Do you want a leadership role where employment genuinely supports mental health recovery? This is not a back‑office management role. This is frontline IPS leadership, supporting people with mental health needs to move into meaningful, sustainable work.

• Lead a team of up to 8 IPS Employment Specialists and oversee day‑to‑day delivery of IPS services across CLF boroughs.
• Line‑manage and support the team, balancing compassion with accountability.
• Drive performance against job start, sustainment and progression targets.
• Embed the IPS Fidelity Model and support Good–Excellent practice.
• Work closely with clinicians to integrate employment into care pathways.
• Monitor caseloads, quality and outcomes using data and insight.
• Support reflective practice, supervision and staff well‑being.
• Ensure safeguarding, GDPR and audit readiness.
• Identify risks and escalat[e] appropriately to the Contract Manager.
• Act as a visible, values‑led leader within the service.

• IPS or supported employment background.
• Mental health, health or social care services experience.
• Frontline team leadership or supervision experience.
• Performance and quality‑led service delivery background.

• Have a strong understanding of the IPS Fidelity Model.
• Enjoy coaching, developing and motivating others.
• Can balance compassion with accountability.
• Work confidently with clinicians and partners.
• Use data to improve practice and outcomes.
