Financial Accountant (4 Month Contract)

Watford, Hertfordshire Day Rate: £400-£450 Length of contract: 4 Months minimum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a dynamic team in Watford on a 4 month contract to support the finance team. You must be immediately available or on short notice to be considered.

• Preparing month end and year end close processes; preparation and examination of accounting statements
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and local tax filings in all financial documents
• Preparing relevant documentation for internal and external auditors
• Identify and implement process improvements for various areas of the accounts to improve efficiency
• Regular financial reporting as necessary
• Collaborating with wider finance team to improve reporting across the business

• Fully Qualified Accountant with proven experience in a similar role
• Advanced excel skills with ability to improve reporting
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work closely together towards a common goal
• Demonstrated ability in preparing financial statements and group reporting
• Ability to work independently and deliver to agreed timescales

The client is offering hybrid work and c £400 per day.
