Salary: To £42,000

Our client, a large organisation within the industry, is constantly conducting multiple M&E projects to meet customer requirements and for the general upkeep of their site. They are now seeking an experienced M&E Manager to manage M&E contracts and contractors on all aspects of plant and electrical activities.

You will ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are met and recorded, oversee contractors on the delivery of all mechanical and electrical maintenance projects, and confirm health and safety is adhered to at all times. You will be responsible for liaising and communicating with external and internal customers to agree on requirements for individual projects, confirming the competency of contractors on the approved lists before site commencement, and ensuring an end‑to‑end management to handover to operations & maintenance.

• M&E contract management and PPMs
• All HVAC plant on site
• Mechanical and electrical installations across the site
• High‑pressure gas/air lines and fixed gas equipment
• Supervision of high voltage contract
• Lifting gear and cranes
• Compressed air equipment and associated testing and certification
• Fire alarms maintenance and servicing
• Foul and surface drainage
• Local exhaust ventilation and smoke extraction plant
• Emergency response
• Spillage response
• Lift maintenance and inspection
• Energy
• Sustainability
• Capital and small works projects

• ACS/Gas Safe qualified
• NVQ/C&G Commercial Heating and Ventilation
• Relevant trade background
• Good organisational skills and able to prioritise workload
• Thorough eye for detail and a high standard of work
• Provide technical support and assistance
