Project Estimator

We are seeking an Estimator to join a well-established high-tech engineering company. This is a key hire within the organisation, where you’ll play a central role in supporting projects ranging from £50k up to several million pounds.

Working closely with the sales and design teams, you will receive project specifications and drawings, which you will use to prepare accurate quotations via the company’s estimation system. You’ll also liaise with suppliers for pricing information and occasionally attend meetings alongside sales colleagues.

• Review specifications and technical drawings to produce accurate quotations.
• Prepare and issue client quotes, ensuring they reflect the latest requirements; adjust quotes as projects evolve.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and secure best value for clients.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues and, when necessary, attend client meetings to provide support and expertise.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative culture within an open-plan office environment.
