Are you currently completing your teacher training or looking for your next teaching role in a supportive and high–performing school? Teach Now is working in partnership with a successful, over–subscribed secondary Academy in Watford to appoint a dedicated Physics Teacher from September 2026.

This role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are eager to join a well–structured and nurturing environment. The Academy has been consistently rated  Good  by Ofsted since 2012, with its most recent inspection in November 2024, and offers modern, state–of–the–art facilities that create an excellent setting for teaching and learning.

About the Role
  • Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high–quality lessons that inspire curiosity and scientific thinking
  • Be supported by a collaborative team of experienced Science colleagues
  • Assess and monitor student progress with guidance from your department
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds (or will hold) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026

Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary of GBP
52,490 is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to U3.
