We are seeking a Site Assistant to join a wonderful SEN school in Watford. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a school or educational setting, particularly in a site-based role. The position starts as a temporary cover with the potential to become permanent after a 12-week placement.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conduct safety checks to ensure a secure environment for students and staff.
• Set up the hall for various school activities and events.
• Perform general handyman tasks to maintain the school premises.
• Manage gate duty for minibus and taxi arrivals, ensuring safe and orderly student transportation.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience in a school or educational setting in a site-based maintenance role.
• Ability to perform general maintenance and handyman tasks.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Enhanced DBS check required. (We can process this for you if yours has expired).
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
